LakeMed is seeking a dedicated activity professional to fill a part-time position here at the facility. LakeMed is a 100 bed facility and is currently transitioning to a TCU. This environment is fast paced and it is preferred that any candidate for this position have completed MEPAP coursework. Also, candidates need to be flexible with scheduling. The schedule will vary to include weekends, holidays, and an occasional evening. Experience in planning and implementing programs is a must and candidate must be highly motivated and outgoing. High School diploma or GED required, experience is a must.

Activities Assistant Position with STNA Certification is a plus
This is a part time position 10:00 am to 4:00 pm including two evenings per week from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm; every other weekend and every other holiday required. Job duties include leading activity groups, feeding residents at parties/socials/hydration activities (if you are an STNA), performing 1-1 activities and documenting these visits, assisting the Activities Director in medium and large group activities, completing attendance and participation records for each resident involved in the activity program and other duties as requested.

Ultimately, our Life Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for working with the Household Coordinator in developing and implementing normal life activities for residents in our Memory Support Household. Therefore, experience with dementia residents is a must.
